Overview

Secondary Tutor

Thrive Education Group are currently looking for Secondary Tutors who have a passion for supporting students with additional needs. As a Secondary Tutor your role will involve teaching low level Maths and English to secondary aged students with ASD, high levels of anxiety and some SEMH.

Sessions are delivered face to face in local libraries, community centres and children's homes and we are seeking Tutors who are available for up to 25 hours per week.

Thrive Education will build a personal timetable for you based on your availability, location and subject knowledge.

Requirements
  • Previously experience planning and delivering low level Maths and English
  • Experience working with special needs students is essential
  • Qualified Teacher Status or a strong background in tutoring
