We are seeking flexible and reliable Secondary Supply Teachers to join teams around Oxfordshire and provide high-quality cover across a range of subjects and year groups in October 2025.

Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies and expectations.
• Ensure pupils remain on task and make progress during cover lessons.
• Follow the school’s safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Be adaptable and ready to cover different subjects and key stages as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents when required.

Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching at secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.
