Milk Education is seeking a knowledgeable, practical, and resilient Health & Social Care and Food/Catering Teacher to join a supportive department in a Secondary school in South Yorkshire. The role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 Health & Social Care and Food/Catering, delivering engaging theory-based and practical lessons that support students' understanding of health, wellbeing, nutrition, and care pathways. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Health & Social Care and Food/Catering lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
• Ensure a safe, well-managed learning environment, adhering to health, safety, and food hygiene requirements
• Promote understanding of health, nutrition, wellbeing, and care-related topics
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to support learning
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student outcomes
• Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
