About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated secondary teachers to join our network of schools across Suffolk. In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students, fostering a positive learning environment where every learner can thrive. You will be responsible for assessing progress, managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and supporting students in achieving their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the secondary curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing targeted feedback to support academic achievement.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies and promote a positive learning culture.
  • Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the varied learning needs, abilities, and interests of students.
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and participation.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student development and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental initiatives, and whole-school improvement efforts.
  • Participate in professional development and engage with current educational practices and standards.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
