Overview

Become a Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant. As a Seasonal Sales Assistant, you’ll join our merry crew and help make this holiday season the best one yet. Supporting our busy peak period leading up to the holiday, you will be the heart of our retail store, welcoming customers with a friendly smile and inspiring them to read, learn, create, or play. The role involves managing deliveries and seasonal stock and can be physically demanding (stairs and heavy stock). Our supportive team will be there to help. Joining us during this period is a great way to benefit from our 25% colleague discount.

Your Festive Mission
  • Excite and Delight: Provide friendly service and inspire customers to read, learn, create, or play with our products.
  • Loyalty Ambassador: Help customers craft a Christmas well spent and show them value at The Works.
  • Merchandising Marvel: Follow planograms for key product areas and, where allowed, use your creativity in non-planogrammed spaces to attract attention.
  • Deliveries: Manage deliveries, price & label products, sort items onto shop floor displays, and keep the stockroom organized.
  • Have fun: Be your authentic, festive self and connect with our brand, colleagues, and customers to create a joyful store environment.

Contract & Perks

Temporary / Seasonal role with a Fixed Term Contract ending on 31 December 2025. There is potential for seasonal colleagues to move to a permanent basis after the initial festive contract.
