Qualifications

• Experience of working within Ocean freight forwarding exports.
• Knowledge of export procedures.

Overview

Our client is a global freight forwarding and Logistics company specialising in air freight, sea freight, road freight and contract logistics.

We are now recruiting for a Sea Freight Exports Coordinator based in Wythenshawe.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
• Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation using Cargowise and ASM Sequoia
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
• Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Experience needed

• Experience of working within Ocean freight forwarding exports
• Knowledge of export procedures
• Customs regulations including national and international shipping documentation
• You will have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and demonstrate the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
