Job Overview

The SCM Manager Tools is responsible for managing the strategic and operational aspects of a single warehouse or tool center. Reporting to the Head of Offshore or Onshore Tools, this role ensures local execution of strategy, compliance with standards, and achievement of performance targets while managing staff, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Execute strategic and tactical plans for site operations.
  • Ensure site compliance with Vestas processes and local regulations.
  • Lead daily operations and staff performance.
  • Drive site‑level safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Manage site budget and financial reporting.
  • Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff.
Qualifications
  • Highly experienced in Business, Supply Chain Management, Organizational Science, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of management experience in a complex matrix organization (mandatory).
  • International experience in a global multicultural environment (advantageous).
  • Proficiency in strategy development, change management, employee engagement, CRM, business case development, lean manufacturing, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, BI, or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Experience working with HSE and safety.
