Job Purpose
Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Scientist/Senior Scientist will support the Reaction Class Expansion and Reaction Class Validation projects in efficiently executing strategic research and development experiments. The Scientist/Senior Scientist's main task is to utilise Chemify's Platform to create and maintain an industry-leading data set of reaction processes, conditions and results for the broadest possible range of chemical space. To use data to identify need for new functionality, to ensure high-quality, reproducible, high-throughput and safe chemical manufacturing.
The Scientist/Senior Scientist will be exposed to and learn to operate a breadth of cutting-edge technologies in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

This role will be based at the company's new manufacturing site at OakBank Industrial Estate, Garscube Road, Glasgow, G20 7LU.
It is anticipated that a period of initial training will take place at the company's headquarters in the Advanced Research Centre, 11 Chapel Lane, Glasgow, G11 6EW.
