This role is ideal for those seeking to return to teaching, newly qualified teachers looking to gain broad experience, or experienced educators seeking a better work-life balance.

The Role: Your Day-to-Day

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Maintain Classroom Management: Effectively manage the classroom environment in line with each school's policy, ensuring a calm, safe, and productive atmosphere.

  • Deliver Prepared Work: Follow all instructions and schemes of work left by the absent teacher, focusing on student engagement and task completion.

  • Leave Comprehensive Feedback: Report back to the permanent class teacher and Head of Department on the work covered, student behaviour, and any issues encountered.

  • Adapt Quickly: Be prepared to work in different schools and settings, sometimes receiving bookings on the morning of the work.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools.

  • A strong ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff.

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the confidence to take control of an unfamiliar class.

  • Professional flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are essential.

  • A commitment to maintaining high professional standards and safeguarding procedures.

What We Offer
  • Unrivalled Flexibility: Choose the days you want to work, fitting work around your personal commitments.

  • Competitive Daily Rates: Excellent pay, paid weekly.
