Science Teacher – Alternative Provision

Are you a passionate Science teacher with the skills to inspire and engage young people who need a fresh start in education? We are seeking an enthusiastic and resilient teacher to join our dedicated team in an Alternative Provision setting. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to students who have faced barriers to learning, including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, young people excluded from mainstream education, and pupils who may be new to the UK and developing their English language skills.

Responsibilities
  • Teach engaging and accessible Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Adapt learning to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, backgrounds, and experiences.
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with students, helping them re-engage with education.
  • Work closely with a committed and nurturing team who share a passion for inclusion and second chances.
