About Our Partner School

Our partner school in Scunthorpe provides a nurturing, inclusive environment for students aged 11-16, many with EHCPs or diagnoses such as ADHD, ASD, or SEMH needs. The school specialises in supporting young people who have faced difficulties in mainstream settings, giving them a fresh start to build confidence, curiosity, and lifelong skills.

What You'll Do

• Create an engaging, fun, and dynamic science classroom where all students feel safe to experiment and explore.
• Plan and deliver lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, tailored to students' individual needs and abilities.
• Inspire and challenge students to think critically, problem-solve, and embrace scientific inquiry.
• Bring science to life with hands-on activities, experiments, and creative approaches to learning.
• Support students' social, emotional, and academic development, helping them to rebuild confidence.

Who We're Looking For

• Passionate about supporting students with SEND and SEMH.
• Experienced in planning and delivering personalised learning (2+ years in SEND or similar setting preferred).
• Flexible, resilient, and ready to tackle challenges in a rewarding teaching environment.
• QTS/QTLS is desirable but not essential if you have strong relevant experience.
