Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a SEND setting or similar provision.
  • Experience teaching KS3/4 or primary level.
  • Strong understanding of science concepts.

You’ll create a supportive and engaging classroom where every student feels valued, builds confidence, and develops a strong understanding of science.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver Science lessons for KS4 students, including GCSE level.
  • Tailor learning to meet the individual needs of students, creating personalised learning paths.
  • Design engaging lessons that simplify complex concepts and enrich learning with hands‑on experiments.
  • Foster curiosity in students and encourage respect for the natural world through interactive and inspiring teaching.
Requirements
  • Committed and passionate about supporting students with SEND
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a SEND setting or similar provision
  • QTS/QTLS qualification is a plus
  • Primary experience or KS3/4
