Science Lead Teacher

About this role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward‑thinking Science Lead Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team and drive an engaging, inspiring and fully inclusive science curriculum across our school. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced science teacher with curriculum leadership experience in leading curriculum or for an ambitious teacher ready to step into a new and rewarding challenge.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the teaching, planning and delivery of an inspirational and accessible whole‑school science curriculum.
  • Oversee standards, progression and outcomes for all students in science.
  • Monitor student progress and ensure timely, impactful support for learners.
  • Work collaboratively with the Education Leadership Team (ELT) to develop and embed a robust moderation, evaluation and review process for science.
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and promote the welfare of children and young people in line with school policies and statutory guidance.
