We are currently looking for a School Premises Officer to join a school on a rolling basis to cover a sickness to manage the current team and complete general maintenance for a school in Wandsworth.

The Role

In this role you will be working part-time on a temporary basis to cover. The hours may require flexibility for opening the school.

Individual jobs will vary in but in general you will be required to :

• Support with general maintenance and repairs in and around the school facilities
• Prepare areas within the school for events (furniture set up etc)
• General upkeep and cleaning
• Weekly fire alarm tests to be recorded in a spreadsheet

Health and Safety Knowledge Needed

To apply for this role you must be physically fit and have experience working in building maintenance. Previous experience in schools, colleges or educational settings is essential for this role. You must have a dedicated and professional approach and will need to hold an Enhanced DBS or be prepared to have one processed.
