️ Job Opportunity: Kitchen Assistants – Middlesbrough Area (Agency Work)
Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently registering agency kitchen assistants to cover temporary roles within schools in the Middlesbrough area.

These roles are as-required, ideal for candidates looking to top up their regular hours or seeking flexible part-time work.

Working Hours:
Typically 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, depending on the school’s requirements.

Duties Include:

• Assisting with food preparation
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Following food hygiene and safety procedures
• Supporting the cook or catering team as needed

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred
• Driving licence and own transport preferred but not essential
• Must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (£13/year)
  – or be willing to pay £59.50 for a new Enhanced DBS
• Completion of online training:
  • Food Hygiene
  • Safeguarding
  • Keeping Children Safe in Education

Pay Rate:
£12.21 per hour, paid weekly in arrears via Berry Recruitment
