Overview

A Secondary School in East London is currently recruiting for a Caretaker to start as soon as possible for an ongoing long-term role.

The school

This secondary school is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with over 1500 students. The school is located in the London borough of Ealing and is a short walk from a popular overground station.

Caretaker

The school are looking for a caretaker to start as soon as possible on an ongoing temp to perm contract. This role will suit someone with previous experience undertaking this role or a facilities professional with at least 1 year\'s experience.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs
  • Ensure the building and grounds are secure when not in use
  • Open the building in the morning and lock it at the end of the day
  • Ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are checked regularly to ensure they are operational
  • Take responsibility for ordering equipment relevant to your role
