Overview

Our client, a leading firm in the rail sector, is currently seeking skilled Scheme Project Managers to join their team on a contract basis to oversee significant rail infrastructure projects. This long-term position operates inside IR35 and adheres to stringent industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver projects safely and responsibly, meeting time, budget, and quality requirements in line with the GRIP process and company standards.
  • Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to environmental and health & safety guidelines.
  • Manage changes and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the production of comprehensive project management plans.
  • Manage project budgets and targets effectively.
  • Track project progress and communicate updates, including risks and issues, to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in project management within the rail infrastructure sector.
  • Proficiency in civil engineering principles.
  • Understanding of Oracle Projects.
  • Knowledge of commercial and financial procedures.
