Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Scheduler to join our team in Bexhill, United Kingdom. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in planning, organising, and maintaining consistent schedules that align with our organisation's operational needs and client requirements.

  • Develop and maintain effective schedules, considering various factors such as staff availability, client needs, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with different departments to ensure optimal resource allocation and service delivery
  • Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate last-minute changes or unforeseen circumstances
  • Liaise with clients and team members to coordinate appointments, meetings, and service deliveries
  • Utilise scheduling software and IT systems to manage and track appointments efficiently
  • Analyse scheduling data to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all scheduling activities
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on scheduling metrics and performance indicators
  • Respond promptly to queries and concerns from staff and clients regarding schedules
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of scheduling strategies to improve overall organisational effectiveness
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a scheduling role, preferably in home care, healthcare, or logistics sectors
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and CRM software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a logical approach to work
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independent decision-making
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in managing changing priorities and workloads
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Strong multitasking abilities and capacity to work efficiently under pressure

  • Resilience and a positive attitude when faced with challenges
  • Relevant education or certifications in operations management, logistics, or a related field (desirable but not essential)
