A UK-based recruitment agency is seeking a remote SC Cleared Data Engineer with strong Databricks and data migration experience. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer is required to support a large-scale public sector digital transformation programme currently underway. The programme focuses on migrating data from Legacy platforms into modern, cloud-based data environments.
Design, develop and support data pipelines as part of a cloud migration initiative
Build and maintain data processing and transformation workflows using Databricks
Support the migration of data from Legacy systems into cloud-based platforms
Work closely with architects, project managers and delivery teams to meet programme objectives
Contribute to the modernisation of ageing enterprise data platforms
Ensure delivery aligns with governance, security and compliance frameworks
Proven commercial experience as a Data Engineer on complex data platforms
Strong hands-on Databricks experience in production environments
Demonstrable experience delivering data migration or cloud transformation projects
Ability to integrate quickly into established teams and deliver at pace
Active SC clearance or clear eligibility to obtain SC clearance
Experience working on public sector or regulated programmes
Familiarity with secure, compliance-driven delivery environments
Exposure to large-scale, long-term transformation initiatives
Fully remote working with minimal onsite requirements
