An established industry player is seeking a dedicated SBT Technician to join their offshore flying squad. The Role and Responsibilities
A new role has arisen in our Small Bore Tubing/Integrity service line for a SBT Technician to join our offshore flying squad on a permanent basis. This is a staff position where you will work offshore on an ad-hoc basis predominantly in the North Sea. Role will include a retainer salary and offshore allowances for days worked carried out.
The role will be to conduct SBT Inspections and Installation activities for various clients onshore/offshore assets and do strength/pressure testing of SBT assemblies. You will also prepare accurate reports and correspond within the timescales set for each individual project with the onshore focal point.
The Requirements
To be successful for this position you will hold a recognised trade qualification or equivalent and it is essential you have your ECITB TSBT01, TSBT02. We may also consider candidates with BFPA training instead.
Previous experience working within a similar role offshore is required and having good Hydraulic Fittings and Hose Awareness is key.
