Job summary

A leading clinical healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Patient Crisis Worker for a Maternity Leave Cover role. This position involves directly supporting victims of sexual assault at a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) by providing information and coordinating their journey through the forensic examination process. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience, excellent IT skills, and a strong understanding of confidentiality. The role includes working 36 hours a week with a shift pattern of three 12-hour shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience in relevant field.
  • Experience with customer support or healthcare environments.
  • Understanding of confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide telephone information and support to patients.
  • Manage administration and coordination of patient visits.
  • Assist patients during forensic examinations.

Skills

Good IT skills
3+ years post qualification experience
Experience working in a supportive or customer focused environment
Knowledge and understanding confidentiality
Experience completing administrative duties
Female applicants only due to the nature of the role
A UK driving license and access to a vehicle
Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting
