Overview

A fun and exciting opportunity to be part of Craigies Santa Adventure, held throughout December at Craigies Farm, South Queensferry.

From humble beginnings, Craigies Farm has grown to become one of the UK’s leading farm shop destinations and represents the very best in modern Scottish farming. Craigies Shop was opened in 1988 with a one-table shop in a converted barn and added the Café in 2007. It has expanded over the years to offer an extensive Pick Your Own and Little Farmers, an adventure farm park for children and families opened in Summer 2021. At Craigies Farm you can eat, shop, play and ‘PYO’ surrounded by stunning countryside just outside Edinburgh. You can see the produce we grow in our fields, pick your own fruit, see how our jams are made and enjoy the very best in food and drink that’s on our doorstep!

Christmas at Craigies will be focusing on a more traditional event with boosting the magic around Christmas, meeting Santa & our elves! Our Christmas Performers will be crucial in delivering this experience, interacting with customers, delivering performances and providing magical family fun. Amongst these is of course, Santa.

Responsibilities

• Perform as part of the Christmas event and interact with customers to deliver magical family experiences.
• Follow a general character brief and script provided by the organisers.
• Be available at weekends throughout December for performances.

• Willingness to work at weekends in December.

Salary and Hours

Salary £15 - £20 per hour depending upon experience. Event runs on weekends from November 29th to December 21st. Shifts are 6–7 hours per day (Saturday & Sunday) and may increase due to high demand, with notice provided.
