What you’ll do

• Partner with product owners and solutions architects to deliver tailored solutions across the Salesforce Ecosystem to support and realise business requirements (Sales, Service, Communications, Experience and Marketing Clouds).
• Drive adoption of best practices and support a community of Salesforce Technical Designers across a wide range of initiatives to support business growth, adoption and exploitation of the Salesforce platform.
• Employ robust engineering principles across the design, development and delivery of changes to the Salesforce platform, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and defining best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Perform technical analysis, design and support the implementation of changes to the Salesforce platform following best practices, leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities and customization when necessary.
• Contribute to improvements of DevOps processes, ways of working and tools including scrum, user support, platform security, quality, version control and CI/CD.
• Work with domain and cross-functional agile teams to support and enhance features in CPQ, EPC, CLM and OM to support Salesforce application offerings in iterative release cycles.
• Manage and train a team of Salesforce developers and architects to build solutions using Visualforce, Lightning, APEX, APIs, and Comms Cloud components (OmniScripts, Data Raptors, Omnistudio Cards, Omnistudio Product Designer, Omnistudio Pricing Designer and Integration Procedures).

What you’ll bring

• Extensive experience with the Salesforce Digital Commerce platform and business processes including Comms Cloud (Vlocity, CPQ, EPC, OM, CLM), Sales, Service, Experience and Marketing Clouds, ideally in a Communications environment.
• Experience in design and development across the Salesforce platform including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Omnistudio (Cards, Product Designer, Pricing Designer), Digital Commerce (including Cart-based APIs), Lightning Web Components, Apex, Triggers, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, Integration Procedures, orchestration plans and event-driven integrations with external systems using SOAP, REST, BULK, Platform Events and Streaming APIs.
• Experience of Salesforce core and Comms Cloud performance considerations and knowledge/techniques to avoid performance degradation.
• Knowledge of industry CPQ offerings such as assetization, product lifecycle management, digital commerce/cart-based APIs and external APIs.
• Experience in building complex, scalable and high-performance software systems with OO design patterns; knowledge of TOGAF would be advantageous.
• Experience with Version Control Systems and CI/CD workflows (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins) using Vlocity Build CLI or Vlocity IDX, and SFDX. Knowledge of static code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube) and log analysis tools (e.g., ELK or Splunk) is beneficial.
