Qualifications

Job Title: Sales Project Co-ordinator

Compensation: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

Salt Separation Services has been leading in desalination technology for over 35 years, specializing in the engineering, commissioning and servicing of reverse osmosis (RO) plants that provide drinkable water solutions across a variety of industries. Our systems are used in sectors including naval, oil, cruise ships, and more. Key Responsibilities
  • ERP & Data Management
    • Maintain accurate and complete sales and order data in Epicor ERP.
    • Ensure all proposals, orders, and project details are properly recorded, accessible, and aligned with operational needs.
    • Champion an “Epicor-first” approach to sales data entry.
  • Sales-to-Operations Handover
    • Coordinate structured handovers to ensure delivery teams are fully briefed on customer expectations, commitments, and scope.
    • Act as the central point of contact for ensuring data accuracy during handovers.
  • Project Coordination & Progress Tracking
    • Monitor sales projects from proposal through to completion, identifying risks and sharing timely updates.
    • Track timelines and proactively flag potential delays to Sales and Operations.
  • Aftersales Project Support
    • Gather feedback and usage data from Service and Commissioning teams.
    • Share insights with Sales to support customer retention and inform future strategy.
  • Customer & Internal Communication
    • Serve as a coordination hub for customer updates, internal progress reports, and issue resolution.
    • Ensure clear, timely communication across Sales, Operations, and Service teams.
  • Sales Team Support
    • Take ownership of administrative and coordination tasks to enable senior team members to focus on strategic selling and mentoring.
    • Support sales forecasting and reporting by compiling accurate data for management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a project coordination or project support role
  • Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience using ERP systems (Epicor preferred) for sales and order management
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Clear and confident communicator, comfortable liaising across departments
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service

Desirable:

  • HNC manufacturing or engineering
  • Experience of projects within Engineering
