Solotech are looking for a Sales Executive. The sales executive will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction for new and existing clients and demonstrating our technical services to potential customers. They will manage professional equipment sales and installation sales from enquiry through to after sales support.

Your day will look like this:
  • Assist and manage equipment sales from start to finish, handling enquiries, preparing quotations and chasing leads
  • Actively pursue installation projects, acquiring contracts through client liaison, remaining as first point of contact as required.
  • Confirm orders, instructing equipment preparation staff of the process.
  • Assist with stock management using the Company asset-tracking software
  • Follow up and develop leads, including enquiries fielded via sales administrators and ensure they are dealt with in a timely and positive manner
  • Engage in marketing activities to support the expansion of our case study portfolio, raising profile through project work
  • Offer expertise and advise on technical, product and procedural matters
  • Ensure that payment terms and conditions are effectively communicated to customers and liaise with the accounts team to ensure that invoices are prepared, despatched and settled promptly
  • Develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction, initiate and manage customer relationships and identify / resolve any problems
  • Support the preparation and marketing of trade exhibitions, working on site when required.
  • General sales related tasks: attending meetings, keeping Companies records updated and performing necessary credit checks
  • Assist with the delivery and hand-over of equipment sales and with sales-related logistics
  • Assist project management of equipment installations, including responding to requests promptly, verifying all installation designs in liaison with technical team.
  • Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.
Your profile:
  • Educated to industry related degree level (or equivalent)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Right to work and remain in the UK
  • Strong experience of sales and customer service with an in-depth knowledge of pro-audio equipment and associated markets
  • Strong experience and knowledge of the audio-visual field or associated markets
  • A proven track record in sales, the sales process and sales management
  • Effective administration skills, together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to use database software is essential
  • Flexibility and adaptability, capable of multitasking, while remaining calm under pressure
  • Demonstrate an ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to anticipate problems and find effective solutions aligned to the Company's policies procedures
