Overview

Job Title: Sales Engineer – Commercial and Industrial Heat Pumps and Chillers

Location: North & Midlands

Remuneration: Up to £65,000 + £7,500-£15,000 Bonus

Benefits: Hybrid Car, EV or £7,000 Car Allowance and full benefits

Responsibilities
  • Field sales role selling a distribution range of commercial and industrial (100kw+) heat pumps and chillers, plant supply only
  • 50% of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors, 50% winning specifications with M&E consultants (small element of FM and end user work)
  • Predominantly a new business role, although you will inherit a pipeline of circa £3m-£4m
  • Revenue target year one circa £500,000, year 2 £1m
  • Typically project sizes £200,000-£400,000 (circa £100,000-£150,000 per chiller)
  • Sector targets: commercial, industrial, healthcare and education
  • Delivering high spec climate solutions
Ideal Applicant / Qualifications
  • Must have a proven track record in the sales of HVAC or renewable products
  • Ideally sold heat pumps or chillers for commercial or industrial applications
  • Mix of engineering and sales background may be advantageous
  • Network of contacts within M&E consultants and M&E contractors
  • Technical product knowledge but not essential and full product training will be provided
  • Door opener/ new business hunter
  • Autonomous and self-starter
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organised, able to manage own day-to-day
  • Energetic and passionate
  • Team player
