This is an excellent opportunity for someone technical who naturally communicates well, enjoys simplifying complexity, and wants exposure across customer, product and market‑facing work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requirements into clear technical inputs for internal teams.
  • Prepare concise technical presentations, proposals and written responses.
  • Simplify complex engineering and electrochemical concepts into customer value.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials, grant applications and investor content.
  • Respond to customer and partner technical queries.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date view of hydrogen, electrolyser and competitor technologies.
  • Work closely with product, engineering and commercial leadership.
  • Develop toward a full commercial role over time (clear progression pathway).
Candidate Profile
  • 2–4 years’ experience in an engineering or scientific role.
  • Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Process Engineering or related scientific field.
  • Strong interest in commercial work; ideally some customer exposure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable simplifying complex technical problems for mixed audiences.
  • Curious, proactive, and able to operate in a fast‑moving scale‑up environment.
  • Able to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
  • Experience with hydrogen, fuel cells, electrolysis, industrial gases or clean‑tech systems.
  • Exposure to commercial proposals, techno‑commercial assessments or grant funding.
