Overview

Hayward Hawk are proud to be recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our clients growing team. This role focuses on supporting and growing relationships with key customers across Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Northern Ireland
  • Provide expert advice on CNC machining processes and tooling solutions
  • Conduct onsite trials, demonstrations, and optimisation of cutting tools
  • Generate technical proposals and quotations with machining strategies
  • Troubleshoot issues related to machining performance or tooling application
  • Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams
  • Ensure excellent customer service and ongoing technical support
Qualifications
  • Experience in CNC programming and machining (ideally 2–3 years)
  • Background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (preferred but not essential)
  • Based in Northern Ireland and willing to travel locally for customer visits
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused attitude
  • Completion of an engineering apprenticeship or similar training in mechanical/manufacturing disciplines.
