Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven Sales Director to spearhead the growth of our contingent workforce business across EMEA. This role will focus on securing new MSP partnerships and direct end‑client agreements, expanding our footprint in key markets, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. The successful candidate will be a proven dealmaker in the staffing industry, comfortable navigating complex procurement processes, and adept at building senior stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, target, and win new contingent workforce business across EMEA through direct end‑client engagement and MSP program partnerships.
  • Develop and execute a go‑to‑market sales strategy to drive revenue growth in line with business objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring consistent deal flow and predictable sales performance.
  • Lead high‑value client pitches, proposals, and tender responses, working closely with bid management and delivery teams.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, master service agreements (MSAs), and supplier contracts to secure competitive, profitable deals.
  • Represent MarkJames Search at industry events, networking forums, and business development meetings across EMEA.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to develop campaigns, case studies, and thought leadership content that supports new business acquisition.
  • Provide regular sales forecasting, market intelligence, and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven track record of winning significant contingent workforce / MSP business in a staffing agency environment.
  • Strong network and existing relationships with MSP program leads, procurement teams, and HR / Talent Acquisition leaders across EMEA.
  • Deep understanding of MSP / RPO programs, vendor management systems (VMS), and contingent hiring compliance requirements (e.g., IR35, AUG license, local employment laws).
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and deliver long‑term, profitable client engagements.
  • Strategic thinker with a consultative approach to solution selling.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship‑building skills at senior and C‑suite levels.
  • Highly motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced growth environment.
