£80,000-100,000 DOE + Car/Allowance + Bonus

I'm working with a dynamic food manufacturing business who are looking for a heavy-hitting Sales Director to lead their commercial strategy across the full value chain.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of a growing business operating across foodservice, retail grocery, and B2B ingredient manufacturing - with genuine strategic impact from day one.

My client needs someone who knows how to win, whether that's securing national retail listings, landing major foodservice contracts, or building strategic ingredient partnerships with CPG manufacturers and QSRs.

What You’ll Own
  • Multi-channel sales strategy across foodservice, retail, and B2B ingredients
  • P&L management and pricing strategy for multi-million-pound portfolios
  • Building and leading high-performance sales teams
  • Key relationships with senior buyers at major retailers, QSRs, distributors, and ingredient customers
  • Cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing to drive innovation
What They’re Looking For
  • Proven success selling into foodservice operators, retail chains, and ingredient buyers (QSR, CPG, co-manufacturers)
  • Experience across branded, private label, and ingredient portfolios in sectors like protein, bakery, snacks, dairy, or prepared foods
  • Strong technical understanding of ingredients, formulations, and manufacturing processes
  • A track record of double-digit growth, securing national listings, and building winning teams
  • The ability to translate consumer trends into commercial opportunities
