Sales Coordinator - Geosense is looking for an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working hybrid 3 days a week in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

About the role

As a Sales Coordinator, you will support the sales team by managing customer enquiries and orders, ensuring that service levels exceed expectations. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication, and a commercial mindset to provide accurate updates and support both customers and internal teams throughout the sales process. Working hours for this role will be Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm.

Day-to-day duties will include
  • Positively represent Geosense and respond professionally to customer and stakeholder enquiries via phone and email.
  • Liaise with internal teams to provide accurate updates on orders, lead times, and customer requirements.
  • Generate quotes, raise proforma invoices, process orders, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Support Technical Sales Engineers with administrative tasks, workflow, and ensure product knowledge is up to date.
  • Identify potential issues, propose solutions, elevate where needed, and follow company procedures while suggesting improvements.
About you

As a Sales Coordinator, you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a B2B sales-aligned role and a strong understanding of the sales process. You are highly organised, able to prioritise tasks, and work effectively under pressure. Clear communication, attention to detail, and a practical approach to problem-solving are essential. You will be confident using IT systems, working independently, and supporting a team. You should be adaptable to changing workloads and deadlines, commercially aware, and customer focused. A calm, friendly, and professional approach is required at all times.
