Role Overview

We are looking for a driven, commercially minded sales professional to grow digital and print revenues across some of Scotland's most influential and trusted media brands - including The Scotsman, Edinburgh Evening News and GlasgowWorld. This is a multi-platform role where you'll help businesses connect with audiences through powerful digital advertising solutions, supported by the reach, trust and heritage of established news brands. You'll develop long-term client relationships and identify new opportunities, working consultatively to deliver campaigns that perform.

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead in building and managing strong relationships with both new and existing clients across a range of sectors.
  • Develop digital-first advertising solutions that deliver measurable results through formats such as display, video, branded content and audience targeting, complemented by the heritage and reach of our established print titles.
  • Use audience insights and campaign performance data to demonstrate the value of our platforms and help clients achieve tangible growth.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline, maintain consistent levels of activity, and deliver against clear revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial, digital and marketing teams to create effective, integrated campaigns that resonate with audiences and perform for clients.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within digital media, print media, marketing or advertising.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising formats, metrics and optimisation, and confidence in developing long-term commercial relationships built on trust and results.
  • Strong organisational skills, a self-starting attitude, and a commitment to excellence.
  • An articulate communicator with the ability to simplify and sell complex solutions in a way that engages clients and builds confidence.
