We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our Sports Medicine Sales team covering Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Shropshire & North Wales, UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the skills required to become an effective sales representative.
  • Learn and practice the techniques required to grow the volume of a defined territory through sales of Stryker Sports Medicine products.
  • Manage business in accounts within an existing sales territory and become responsible for the day‑to‑day running of key accounts.
  • Become proficient in dealing with stock issues, instrument requirements, organising loan kits, and carrying out regular customer training; provide guidance on safe use of Stryker products within the hospital and operating theatre environment.
  • Support other sales managers so they can concentrate on new business acquisition and account development.
  • Implement training sessions and workshops on the use of Stryker products and deliver these sessions to nurses, theatre practitioners and surgeons.
  • Identify opportunities to promote and sell Stryker products, receiving training on basic selling, presenting and negotiation techniques.
  • Manage product delivery channels such as consignment kit and loan service to suit customer needs.
  • Deliver customer service to an existing customer base in theatre and clinical environments, building relationships with key personnel.
  • Ensure that appropriate medical care for the patient is of paramount importance and recommend only suitable products.
  • Collaborate with other sales team members and the Regional Business Manager to maintain best‑in‑class customer service levels; attend surgeon training meetings and educational conferences.
  • Demonstrate outstanding ethics and represent Stryker in the best possible light.
  • Conduct trials and evaluations of product in theatre and clinical environments as required.
  • Gather observations of customer needs and liaise with colleagues to introduce new or additional Stryker products or support.
  • Record customer details and maintain a basic business plan with daily, weekly and monthly objectives, prioritising time and resources to grow business.
Required Qualifications
  • BSc in Life Sciences, Business or an equivalent work experience.
  • A driven, people‑focused and accountable attitude.
  • Confident in delivering presentations.
  • Interest in anatomy and physiology.
  • Demonstrated high achiever who loves to learn and take on challenges.
  • Background that demonstrates an ability to engage with others, influence, motivate and work hard.
  • A full clean driving licence.
