Role: Sales Account Manager

Location: Huddersfield

Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £30k to £40k OTE 50k

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday

Type: Permanent – Office/Field based

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

My are a leading independent electrical wholesaler with a 30 year history servicing the electrical trade and the public across the UK. Their branches are located throughout Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and the North-West. They are currently recruiting for a Sales Account Manager in their Huddersfield branch.

Job Purpose

To ensure the growth of the company through achieving sales targets, actively working with existing and prospective customers and providing an excellent standard of customer service managing accounts.

Key Skills, Responsibilities & Objectives
  • Developing a portfolio of customers and attending client meetings as and when required.
  • Pro-actively selling to inactive and new customers, to assist in the achievement of sales and margin targets at the branch.
  • Handling customer enquiries.
  • Processing orders and quotations, using in house systems when required.
  • Sourcing products and place orders for special goods as requested by the client.
  • Attending internal and external personal development and training sessions when required.
  • Serving on the sales counter when required.
