A leading lab solutions provider seeks a German-speaking Laboratory Sales Account Manager. You will manage relationships with scientific clients, split time between account management and new business, and travel to Germany every 5–6 weeks. The role requires a scientific degree and sales experience. The package includes a salary of £32,000 – £37,000, uncapped bonus, and additional benefits.

Office based in Luton 2 days per week, otherwise home based.
THE COMPANY: An independent, privately owned global manufacturer specialising in the provision of a range of equipment and consumables that are used within laboratories, serving universities, biotech and pharmaceutical organisations. They are currently seeking to recruit a motivated, hungry and credible sales professional with scientific experience to manage and grow their well-established German Customer base. They have a great culture, offer full training and have a track record of developing their employees!
Liaising with German customers but working from the UK, the Sales Account Manager will build relationships with scientific contacts within purchasing and procurement. Typically liaising with lab managers, technicians and researchers. There will be a 50-50 split of account management and new business and 70% of your time will be academia based, the rest with biotech companies, commercial labs and pharmaceutical businesses.
There will be a requirement to travel to Germany fully expensed by the company once every 5/6 weeks. Although you will work from home 3 days per week, there’s a requirement to work in the office two days per week 8-5pm.
