One of the leading companies in the nuclear sector is looking to bring in a Safety Case Engineer to join the growing team working on vast projects in the nuclear space. This is one of the best and well-known projects and companies in the sector.

Role details:
  • Type: Permanent
  • Locations: Warrington, Bristol, Leicester, Glasgow, or Newbury
  • Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience
  • Excellent benefits package, bonuses, and travel opportunities for second-site work.
Candidate requirements:

Our client is seeking several Principal Safety Case Engineers to join their nuclear projects. They offer flexible and remote working options, welcoming applicants from all over the UK.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure engineering works are safe and secure by creating specialist plans and reviews.
  2. Examine engineering activities and manage the delivery of safety aspects.
  3. Produce and design technical and general safety reports.
  4. Create hazard management strategies.
  5. Mentor junior staff.
  6. Author safety assessments related to radiological work and hazard management.
  7. Participate in HAZID/HAZOP sessions.
  8. Manage delivery of work undertaken by the supply chain.
Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree (Chartered status desirable).
  • Experience working with multiple teams.
  • Experience with EPC (desirable).
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Security clearance (must be a UK citizen with a British Passport).
