Job description

Lancashire Constabulary's Safer Roads Department is looking for a passionate and dedicated NDORS Trainer to join us at Hutton. In this role, you'll play a vital part in improving road safety by delivering high-quality courses as part of the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) and other driver safety initiatives. Your work will help change driver behaviour, reduce risk, and make our roads safer for everyone.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver engaging, practical NDORS courses that meet national standards.
  • Monitor and support other trainers to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
  • Keep up to date with UKROEd and force policies, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures to continually improve our service.
Qualifications

You’ll need one of the following nationally recognised teaching qualifications (or equivalent experience in delivering behavioural programmes for adults):

  • Award in Education and Training
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education
  • City & Guilds awards in training and development/teaching and supporting learners
  • Awards in teaching in Further Education or Higher Education sector
  • Licenced NDORS trainer or agree to complete necessary training to become a licenced NDORS trainer within 3 months of appointment
  • Full UK driving licence
