A regional law enforcement agency in Preston is seeking an Oracle Financial Systems Assistant Analyst. The role involves managing the financial systems, resolving Oracle module issues, and producing management information. Ideal candidates will be methodical thinkers with skills in Excel and SQL, and will have opportunities for hybrid working. Benefits include generous annual leave, pension schemes, and more.
Applications are invited for the post of Oracle Financial Systems Assistant Analyst, within the recently formed Financial Systems Team in Finance based at Hutton Headquarters.
The Financial Systems Team is a recently created team because we have taken ownership of managing, maintaining & developing our own Financial System. This has opened a vast range of development opportunities in the Finance Team to develop skills in ICT including using Microsoft Excel to analyse data using formulas and create Pivot tables and writing Macros using Visual Basic for Applications. As well as learning to programme using SQL to help you use Oracle Developer & Blitz Reporting to query the database and create reports.
All in all, Oracle is one big puzzle. If you are a methodical thinker, like problem solving, can think outside the box, produce new ideas, and would like to develop your skills in finance or see yourself as a software developer then the Financial Systems Team is a good place to be.
Please see the attached job specification for further details.
