Regional Forensic Courier

West Yorkshire Police, the lead Force for the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Scientific Support Services, is looking to recruit a Regional Forensic Courier to be based at the Regional Scientific Support at Calder Park, Wakefield. We currently have one full‑time post available, working 37 hours per week. The working days will be Monday to Friday.

Role Overview: The role provides a comprehensive and professional courier service to the four Forces of the Yorkshire and Humber region; transporting exhibits, and other items as required, within specified timescales and whilst maintaining appropriate continuity records.

Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last five years. Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused because it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.
