Royal Mail Post Person Driver – Chorley

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to work for Royal Mail as a Post Person. Pay rates from £13.07 per hour. The role of Royal Mail Post Person is based in Chorley.

Please note this a Xmas seasonal position.

You don’t need any experience, but you do require a Full UK Manual Driving License; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role! Shifts for Royal Mail Post Person (Must be flexible with your hours):

• Hours: 2pm-8pm – Mon-sun
• Start Date: ASAP

Pay for Royal Mail Post Person:

• £13.07 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours @ £16.33
• Bank holiday rate £19.59
• Paid Weekly

Main Duties of Royal Mail Post Person:

• Sortation of round prior to departure
• Vehicle checks
• Driving manual vehicle to delivery locations or working on foot
• Delivering letters and small parcels to home and business addresses

About You:

· You must hold a valid UK manual Driving License

· No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)

· Happy to drive a company issued vehicle or work on foot

· Be physically fit

· Happy to work outside in all weather conditions

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete the Royal Mail Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
