Your Role As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring deliveries are made come rain or shine. You’ll navigate your delivery routes, provide exceptional service, and ensure every parcel and letter reaches its destination safely. Some roles involve driving, but the majority of the work is on foot, delivering letters and parcels directly within the community. Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to customers on assigned routes, typically on foot with occasional driving where required.
• Provide courteous, reliable service and handle items safely and securely.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk long distances (up to 20,000 steps a day) and carry a bag weighing up to 16 kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary; ability to adapt at short notice and work as part of a team.
