Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NMC registration and demonstrate well-rounded midwifery experience.
• Experience of multiprofessional and multi-agency working is preferred.
• Flexibility in approach to work arrangements is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the full spectrum of midwifery care across hospital and community settings.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care in partnership with women and families.
• Contribute to clinical management and leadership within the midwifery team.

Skills

Ability to practice in all areas of midwifery in accordance with the NMC Midwives Code of Practice

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to act up for the Midwifery Team leader in their absence

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner
