Overview

We are keen to hear from experienced band 6 midwives to join our team.

The post holder will be an experienced registered midwife with the ability to practise autonomously when providing care to women/birthing people during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period and will be the coordinating care provider for women, birthing people and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of the team providing maternity care to women/birthing people within the hospital and community.
  • Deputise on the ward or department in the absence of the senior midwife.
  • Take responsibility for coordinating the care pathways in the community setting and participate in the on‑call service to provide a home‑birth service.
