Rota Nanny role in Winchester, SO23

This family are looking for a Nanny for their 21‑month‑old daughter. The role is 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday 8:00‑4:30pm on an 8‑week rolling rota (8 weeks on while dad is away working, then 8 weeks off unpaid). Mum works from home; this is a sole‑charge, live‑out position.

Duties include:

• Morning routine
• Preparing/cooking healthy meals and snacks
• Planning fun trips out to the park, going on walks, exploring outside and ensuring the child is happy and safe
• Usual nursery duties such as keeping children’s areas tidy and handling children’s laundry

The family is looking for an experienced, engaging and safety‑conscious nanny; someone outdoorsy with Montessori experience would be a great match.

Location: Winchester, Hampshire, SO23. The home is based in central Winchester with lots of walkable amenities. The first 8 weeks (5 Jan–5 Mar 2026) can be a temporary role before the permanent role begins.

Hours: 8.5 hours per day, 4 days per week.

Pay: £20 gross per hour (£680 gross per week, £5 440 gross for 8 weeks).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years professional nannying experience with a child of a similar age
• Paediatric first aid certificate (minimum 12 hours)
• Valid enhanced DBS certificate
• EESM or equivalent Montessori experience and knowledge of the EYFS (not essential but strongly preferred)

Other requirements:

• Ability to drive or willing to obtain a driving licence (car provision possible)
• No pets in the home
