Working as part of the Housekeeping team, you will ensure all guest bedrooms within the hotel are cleaned daily to the highest standards. Attention to detail and high standards are essential to meet guest expectations for a perfect stay.

Malmaison offers a range of luxury and boutique hotels in 15 landmark locations across the UK. Renowned for style and hospitality, Malmaison provides exquisite accommodation, a relaxing atmosphere, and excellent food and wine in our Chez Mal Brasseries.

As a Room Attendant, you will interact with guests, so conversational English is essential. You should be able to work independently for periods. Your role is vital in ensuring bedrooms are clean and tidy for guests' arrival and stay.

Flexibility is needed. You will mainly work set shifts, usually between 9am – 3pm, five days a week. Shift start times can be flexible between 9am – 10am, and earlier start times can be discussed at interview. Flexible contracts or weekend work options are available.

This role requires a reasonable level of fitness. Full training on chemicals and equipment will be provided.

Experience in similar roles is not required, but a positive attitude and desire to contribute to the hotel are essential.

We encourage internal development and progression. After probation, candidates may enroll in our apprenticeship scheme.

In addition to competitive pay, we offer:

  • Discounted staff rates at Malmaison, Hotel du Vin, and Frasers Hospitality, from £65/night
  • 50% off the best available rate for friends and family
  • 35% off dining in our Brasseries and Bistros
  • Fully funded apprenticeship programs
  • High street discounts and holiday offers
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Healthcare Cash Plans
  • Referral bonuses up to £1500
  • Uniform provided
  • Wellness & Campaign Days
  • Access to Wagestream for instant wage access
  • Complimentary stays on your anniversaries
  • Support for neurological health charities
  • Employee Assistance Programme

Our Sustainability Goals:

  • 100% renewable electricity
  • Recycling at least 70% of waste
  • Eco-friendly cleaning systems
  • Volunteer days for sustainable charities
