A leading UK cargo service provider is looking for an Electrical, Mechanical & Hydraulic Maintenance Technician in Nottingham. Responsibilities include rectifying issues in various systems, generating reports, and assisting in safety procedures. The ideal candidate will possess NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and relevant hands-on engineering experience. Successful candidates will have a NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) as a minimum. The NVQ Level 3 could have been obtained through an engineering apprenticeship or at a College/Sixth Form in an engineering discipline. Applicants must also have hands‑on engineering experience displayed in their application. Experience in a similar rail sector role is an advantage but not essential. Forward‑thinking with the ability to adapt to new ways of working and positively contribute to changes is valued.
Salary: £40 185 per annum (inclusive of additional hours and shift allowance). 31 days paid holiday plus 2 public holidays (Christmas Day and New Year’s Day). Defined Contribution pension scheme with generous employer‑match.
