Job summary

A recruitment agency in healthcare is seeking a Band 6 Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Social Worker for a Home Based Treatment team in Blackburn. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and passionate about supporting service users with acute mental health concerns. This is a 3-6 month contract with a pay rate of £24.00 - £40.00 per hour based on shift patterns. Responsibilities include risk assessment, care planning, and medication administration. Candidates must hold NMC registration to be considered.

Job description

Belmont Recruitment are currently working with a Blackburn based Home Based Treatment team (HBTT) who are looking for a Band 6 RMN or Social Worker to join them on a contract basis.

The successful applicant will be dynamic and forward thinking, passionate about working with service users with acute mental health concerns and providing a recovery focused approach. The successful applicant will have the ability to work as part of a team and in partnership with local services.

This is a 3-6 month contract with potential extension opportunities.

Duties | Responsibilities
  • Carry out risk assessment in the community
  • Facilitate care plans for service users
  • Knowledge of current mental health legislation/policy
  • Act as gatekeeper
  • Caseload management
  • Capacity assessments
  • Medication administration
  • Signposting

The HBTT operates a 24 hour / 7 day a week service, hours are between 07:30 - 19:30.

Pay rate: £24.00 - £40.00 per hour (depending on shift pattern).
