A collaborative engineering firm in Greater London is seeking a Risk Management Facilitator to oversee hazard identification and risk assessment processes. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and hold a Design for Safety certification. Responsibilities include preparing Safety Submissions and leading risk management sessions. This role will heavily involve interacting with the engineering team and attending various safety meetings. Report to Project Manager/ Design Manager.
Facilitate the hazard identification and risk management sessions for the preparation of Safety Submissions.
Arrange authority to invite and attend the risk management sessions for observing the hazard identifications and evaluations.
Appointed to be in-charge of the preparation and submission of the Safety Submissions.
As hazard registers are live documents, the RMF shall add new hazards identified, monitor and update the hazards in the register to ensure all hazards identified are mitigated and closed.
Attend the Engineer’s Project Safety Committee Meetings and any other Risk Management Meetings directed by the Engineer.
The Risk Management Facilitator shall recommend appropriate risk control measures to reduce or eliminate the identified risks and prepare a record of the risk assessment for the Project Manager / Design Manager after completion of the assessment.
Act as the team leader of the risk assessment team.
