Overview

To support our ambitious plans, we are looking for Retail Supervisors to join our team. You will work closely with our Retail Sales Assistants, acting as a product specialist and a point of escalation. You will welcome our customers and offer any assistance required, supervising and supporting the team in ensuring the daily operations of the store run smoothly and efficiently and ultimately delivering a best-in-class service.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to the Retail Sales Assistants, acting as a product specialist and primary point of escalation.
• Welcome customers, offer assistance, and ensure a best-in-class customer experience.
• Oversee daily store operations to run smoothly and efficiently.
• Support the team in delivering high service standards and achieving store goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to optimise process efficiencies in store.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Remain flexible to cover evenings and weekends as required, with advance rota communication and availability during the Christmas period.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor in a fast-paced, sales environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle challenging situations, requests and queries professionally.
• Highly efficient, well-organised, and able to work to tight deadlines with attention to detail.

About the Role and Store

The Club is continuing its rapid growth trajectory, expanding our commercial footprint with the launch of our brand-new retail store in the heart of Birmingham's Bullring shopping centre, which opened in May 2025. The store design draws on our 150-year history and Villa Park heritage, including a museum section that celebrates the Club’s connection to Birmingham and football history. The store spans 10,000 square feet across ground and mezzanine floors, showcasing our full retail offering including kits, training wear, and a significant adidas collection.
