Retail Supervisor – Full Time

We are looking for a new Retail Supervisor for our shop in Brownhills, West Midlands.

Pay & Benefits
  • Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week
  • Hourly pay: £13.11
  • Guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week – earning at least £511 per week

Responsibilities
  • Support the shop manager and lead the team to run an efficient shop and provide great customer service
  • Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants
  • Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll
Qualifications
  • Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
  • People‑person who builds strong working relationships with the team and customers
  • Trustworthy and reliable; your team and customers will depend upon you to do your job to the best of your ability at all times
  • Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is an advantage but not essential – we would still love to hear from you if you think you have what it takes to start a retail management career
